Fragile fantasized in one of his bucolic walks and seeking a refuge where they can repair for a few hours, he runs into a cave covered in gold.
At a formal level I built this by digging a hole in the lava rock and then I covered the walls with gold leaf. Sitting inside is Fragile, visible through a magnifying glass. The stone is placed on a very old brick that creates a balance between style and recalls the pre-earthquake architecture. Alongside the work exposing the interior of a macro image 100x70 cave.
I am compelled to describe in detail the work because I was told several times that it is difficult to understand through an image.
