The Fiat 128 represents a true innovation in home fiat. Launched in 1969 to replace the Fiat 1100, represents yet another brilliant idea of \u200b\u200bthe great Dante Giacosa. The main innovation was in the front position of the engine as well as traction, a feature not so well seen at the time, but that was a much success for both the mile engine operation (it was in a privileged position in regard to cooling, thus eliminating the problems of temperature which were "affected" a lot of cars at the time), as to both the interior space (the disappeared central transmission tunnel inside the car, creating an amazing space for passengers).
The car was produced until 1983 in various versions (sedan, rally, coupe 3p) proving a huge success all over the mondo.Fu produced in Yugoslavia under the name Zastava until 2001.
In the picture my new purchase: a sedan Series 2 August 1974 with 17,998 km ORIGINAL at the time of withdrawal, in excellent condition body and interior.
